Privacy Policy — Klovett

Klovett is a checklist app for Android, published by ORIANCE BRINECHEM PRIVATE LIMITED (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Klovett Android app, package com.klovett.checklists.

The short version

Klovett collects nothing, sends nothing and stores nothing outside your phone.

Why that is verifiable rather than a promise

Klovett declares no Android permissions at all. In particular it does not declare INTERNET. An Android app without the internet permission cannot open a network connection — the operating system refuses, regardless of what the app’s code tries to do. You can check this yourself on your phone:

Settings › Apps › Klovett › Permissions

The list is empty.

What Klovett stores, and where

Your lists, templates, items and tick marks are written to a database inside Klovett’s own private storage directory on your phone. That directory belongs to Klovett’s Android user ID; no other app on the device can read it.

Klovett also stores one preference — whether you chose light, dark, or follow the system.

That is everything Klovett stores. There is no account, no user ID, no advertising identifier, no device identifier, no analytics event, no crash report and no log sent anywhere.

Backup and transfer are switched off

Klovett opts out of Android’s automatic cloud backup and out of phone-to-phone transfer. Your lists are not copied into your Google account, and they do not travel to a new phone when you set one up.

The cost of this is real and you should know it before you install: there is no copy of your lists anywhere but this phone. If you uninstall Klovett, clear its data, or lose the phone, the lists are gone permanently and nobody — us included — can recover them.

Deleting your data

• Settings › Your data › Delete every list and template removes everything immediately.
• Uninstalling Klovett removes everything too.

You do not need to contact us to delete your data, and there is nothing on our side to delete, because nothing ever reaches us.

Children

Klovett is a general-purpose utility. It is not directed at children, and since it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children either.

Third parties

Klovett contains no third-party SDKs: no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting, no social login. Its only dependencies are Google’s own AndroidX and Jetpack Compose libraries, which run on your device and send nothing anywhere.

Payments

Klovett is free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no paid tier, so the app never handles payment details.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Klovett ever changes what it stores or gains a permission, this policy will be updated before that version is published, and the date at the top will change.
